What To Expect

When you visit our church, you may expect the following:

  • To experience a Christ-centered worship service beginning at 10:45 a.m.
  • To hear a Biblically-based message
  • To hear a tasteful blend of contemporary music and traditional hymns
  • To find friendly, happy people with smiles on their faces.
  • Small group Bible studies at 9:30 a.m.
  • Greeters to answer your questions and provide directions as needed.

What do people wear?

At West End you will see some people dressed casually and a few people more dressed up. However, it is really what is in our heart that we hope you see. We welcome you to wear whatever makes you comfortable.

How long is the service?

Our Sunday worship service starts at 10:45 am and usually lasts about an hour and fifteen minutes (unless Bro. Dennis decides the message is too important to cut short!).

Where should I go on campus?

Our Sunday worship services are held in the church Worship Center. When you arrive on campus, please come ” ’round back”, behind the main building on FM109/Ernst Pkwy. Our greeters will be there to meet you and direct you to an age-appropriate Bible Study, answer any questions you may have, and welcome you to the worship service.

Where do I take my preschooler(s) / child(ren) / teenager(s)?

Preschoolers through kindergarten can be taken to the kids learning room in the same building as the Worship Center or through the kid’s door ” ’round back”. Children from 1st through 6th grade to The Hill (2nd building behind the Worship Center. The teenagers meet “up on the hill”.  There will be someone in each of these buildings to greet and help you get your children registered and to their classes. You can feel comfortable knowing that they will be well taken care of and our leaders enjoy teaching them what the Bible says.
